Job Summary:
An Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Ottumwa, Iowa. This role involves working in a busy ER setting primarily serving adult patients, with an emphasis on acute care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Ottumwa, Iowa
• Role: RN (Registered Nurse) in the Emergency Room (ER)
• Number of openings: 1
• Shift: Nights, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• Schedule: Minimum of 36 hours per week, with a 12-hour shift.
• Guarantee: 36 or 48 hours can be accommodated; please specify preference upon submission
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; 1-2 years experience in acute care facility; Certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Experience with MediTech electronic health record systems; Must have Pediatric and Adult Violence (Child and Adult) mandatory reporter certifications; Must pass criminal background checks from Iowa counties and states, including Child and Adult Abuse checks; Titer vaccinations for MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and TB from last 12 months.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a similar-sized ER setting; travel experience preferred.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Candidates must submit a full submittal packet including a standard candidate submission form, resume, skills checklist, and vaccination documentation.
