Job Summary
Medical Surgical Cardiac Floor Care Coordinator Boston, Massachusetts. This role supports care coordination for patients on a structural heart unit with a focus on triage and coordinating referred and follow-up needs. The position is primarily administrative in nature, with less patient-facing responsibility than a typical RN role. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift (10 hours); 40.0 hours per week. No nights, holidays, weekends.
- Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) (American Heart Association (AHA)); Epic experience; Crisis Triage experience; 2 years in a care coordinator role; Level 1 trauma experience; Excel experience; license required for the role (to be brought on the first day); ability to coordinate care and complete administrative coordination tasks (including referred and follow-ups).
- Preferred Qualifications: 4 years in a coordinator role; ability to work an 8-hour or 12-hour day schedule if needed (8:006:00 highly preferred); strong cardiac experience and structural heart experience (not required).
- Additional Information: Coverage is on the structural heart unit; strong communication and care coordination skills are expected to support triage and ongoing coordination workflows. BILH coversheet required at time of submission.
