Job Summary:
This is a travel Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) Circulator position located in Carlsbad, New Mexico. The role involves circulating surgeries in a facility with 99 beds and six operating rooms. The ideal candidate will demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the operating room environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Carlsbad, NM
• Schedule: Days, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, four 10-hour shifts per week, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), at least 2+ years of experience with general, orthopedic, obstetrics and gynecology, podiatry, plastics, endoscopy, urology, trauma, and Robotics (DaVinci). Experience with adult and pediatric patients is required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience circulating in surgical settings with a variety of specialties including Robotics (DaVinci).
• Additional Information: The RN will be responsible for assisting during surgical procedures, ensuring supplies are ready, communicating with families, updating physician preference cards, scrubbing in surgeries, and supervising personnel involved in patient care. Call requirements include at least once per week, with potential weekend rotation. No Gingersh is approved; circulating surgeries is essential.
