Description
Job Summary:
Certified Operating Room Technologist (ORT CERT) in Carlsbad, New Mexico. This position involves supporting surgical procedures across various specialties in a 99-bed facility with six operating rooms. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. The role offers a 10-hour shift schedule, beginning on July 6, 2026.
Job Details:
- Location: Carlsbad, NM
- Schedule: Days, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM; four 10-hour shifts per week (minimum of 40 hours)
- Required Qualifications: Certification as a Surgical Technologist following successful completion of a CAAHEP-accredited program or other programmatically-accredited surgical technology program, and the national Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) examination administered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting. A minimum of 2 years of experience is required. BLS certification is required. Experience with general, orthopedic, obstetrics and gynecology, podiatry, urology, plastics, endoscopy, trauma, and robotics (DaVinci) is required. Adult and pediatric experience is necessary.
- Additional Information: Fingerprints for all travelers to New Mexico are required. No options for 48-hour guarantees or blocked scheduling. Hospital scrubs are provided.
