Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery Department located in Cooperstown, New York, is seeking qualified travel nurses for a dynamic OB/LDRP role. This position involves supporting patient care in a high-volume unit with a mix of experienced and newly graduated staff. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts with varied scheduling including 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. or 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. on an 8-week cycle, including every other weekend and holiday.
- Required Qualifications:
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification
- Education and Experience: 0 years of experience required; Preferred: 3+ years of OB experience; consideration may be given to candidates with less than 3 years if they have prior travel experience or have worked in a specialized OB setting.
- Location: Must be currently licensed in the state of New York.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in high-volume OB units or specialized settings.
- Additional Information:
- Contract Length: 12 to 13 weeks; shorter durations are not ideal due to coverage needs.
- Holiday Coverage: Travelers must work every other holiday, similar to full-time staff, with holiday requests subject to unit needs.
