Job Summary:
The location is Redwood City, California. The organization is seeking a Surgical Technologist with a specialty in ORT (Surgical Technician/Operating Room Technician) for a position starting on June 17, 2026. This role involves working as part of the surgical team to prepare and assist during surgical procedures, ensuring sterile techniques are maintained and supporting the surgeons needs. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Completion of a formal, structured program for Surgical Technology. Certifications include BLS (Basic Life Support); CST (Certified Surgical Tech) is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Certified Surgical Tech certification is preferred.
• Additional Information: The role requires ability to apply sound judgment, foster effective working relationships, communicate effectively in various formats, and assist the team in meeting standard work requirements for all patient care in the operating room. Knowledge of normal and abnormal anatomy and physiology, basic surgical procedures, sterile technique principles, computer systems used in the clinical environment, safety protocols, and hospital policies is essential. The candidate must demonstrate accountability for professional growth through continuing education, evaluations, and feedback.
