Job Summary:
The nursing position in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) located in Lebanon, New Hampshire, involves providing specialized care for cardiology, electrophysiology, and cardiac surgical patients. The registered nurse must bring their license on the first day and possess a minimum of 1.5 years of recent equivalent experience. This role requires rotation shifts, including nights, with the ability to adapt to a dynamic healthcare environment.

Job Details:

• Location: Lebanon, New Hampshire
• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: NH Registered Nurse (RN) License or Compact License (Proof of State Residency Required); BLS and ACLS certifications; minimum of 1.5 years of recent equivalent experience in cardiac or step-down care, including skills such as Chest tubes, Tubes, Drips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone, Lines/Tubes/drains for post-surgical patients, Trachs/Laryngectomies, Telemetry, Complex wounds, Central Lines care and maintenance, blood draws, Hemodynamic monitoring, Invasive Blood Pressure monitoring through arterial lines, Nitro, primacor, dobutamine, dopamine drips, Bi-PAP/ C-PAP, Low dose pressors, vasoactive medications, and external pacers.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with epicardial wires and TR bands is advantageous.
• Additional Information: This position entails providing high-acuity post-surgical and cardiology patient care, adhering to hospital protocols and safety standards.
