Description

Job Summary:
A registered nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) is sought for a facility located in Eureka, California. This role involves providing comprehensive obstetric and neonatal care in a high-risk obstetrics environment. Candidates are required to bring their California license on the first day of assignment and possess at least one year of experience in labor and delivery. The shift schedule is nights, with a commitment to working 36 or more hours per week.

Job Details:

  • Location: Eureka, California
  • Shift Hours: 12 hours (Night shift)
  • Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0
  • Required Qualifications: Valid California state license, ACLS certification, AWHONN Intermediate certification, BLS certification, NRP certification, 1 year of L&D experience, proficiency with Epic electronic medical record system.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in high-risk obstetrics, neonatal care, and advanced fetal monitoring techniques.
  • Schedule: Nights; minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Float: Float rotation may be required within the scope of practice to meet facility needs.
  • Additional Information: Candidates should be willing to work two of the three major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Travel compliance documentation such as SSN, DOB, and RTO must be included at the time of submission. References covering 1 year within the past 3 years are required, including at least two references such as charge RNs or lead staff. The traveler must be able to work in a culturally diverse environment and adapt to the facilitys high-risk OB care protocols.
