Job Summary:
First Assistant in Operating Room (ORFA) located in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. This position involves supporting surgical procedures within a facility that has an 8-bed unit. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day and must meet the specified qualifications.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Two years of current First Assistant Operating Room experience.
  • Bachelor of Science degree.
  • Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license must be uploaded with profile.
  • Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Meditech Expanse experience is highly preferred.
• Additional Information:
  • Must include your Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License (Nursing Pool) license upfront with all Berkshire Health System nursing submissions.
  • Must specify at least two specific interview dates and times of availability, which must be added to the profile.
  • Perm address must be included in the profile.
  • Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need.
  • All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission; requests after offer may lead to rescindment.
  • No on-call duties, but on-call rotation at BMC Main OR may be required.
  • No scheduling accommodations will be considered for this need.
