Job Summary:
This cardiac catheterization registered nurse (RN) position is located in Boston, Massachusetts. The role involves working as a vital member of the patient care team within the catheterization laboratory, ensuring continuity of care and promoting a patient and family-focused approach. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position supports either three 12-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts.
Job Details:
- Location: Boston, Massachusetts
- Schedule: Days, 36 hours per week, with options for 3 X 12-hour shifts or 4 X 10-hour shifts
- Required Qualifications: Certifications, education requirements, degree requirements, location requirements, and at least 2 years of ICU experience and 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab RN; prior traveler experience preferred but not required

- Additional Information: The Cardiac Catheterization RN acts as a critical member of the patient care team within the department, collaborates fully with other care team members, and promotes a care philosophy centered on patient and family needs. The facility has 7 procedure rooms and a hybrid operative room, with all procedure rooms upgraded within 1-5 years. The department averages over 30 cases daily, ranging from outpatient right heart catheterizations and stable coronary angiograms to complex coronary, structural, and vascular interventions.
