Description

Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) located in Falls Church, Virginia, is seeking a highly experienced healthcare professional for a night shift position. The role involves complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular case scrub assignments within a dynamic operating room environment. Candidates are required to bring their Virginia license on the first day.

Job Details:

Location: Falls Church, Virginia
Shift: Night shift, from 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM, Monday to Thursday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week and 10 hours per day
Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years recent scrub experience in complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases; adult scrub experience mandatory; pediatric scrub experience considered a plus; VA license required at submission; Certified Scrub Technician (CST) and state registration required at submission; BLS (must be American Heart Association) certification required; ability to multitask and apply critical thinking skills; excellent communication skills, team player, participation in professional activities of the department; minimum of 0 years of experience needed
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with research protocols ongoing in the department
Additional Information: Parking on site is free. Call is required approximately after every scheduled shift from 5:30 AM to 6:30 AM. Understand that overtime may be necessary. Must include any time off requested to the end of the contract for a full 13-week period. Flexibility with holiday rotations and weekend schedule based on departmental needs. No Epic system access needed.
