Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse position located in Casper, Wyoming. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for surgical patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. Candidates are required to bring their valid RN license on the first day of employment. The position involves working a day shift, with a schedule of 10 hours per day and a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current, valid RN license in the state of practice; temporary or interim RN license in the state of practice; compact RN licensure for current state of practice; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Experience in an acute care hospital setting for at least one year, including recent experience within the past 12 months in the specialty area.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
• Additional Information:
  • Employees working at behavioral health hospitals or skilled nursing facilities must possess and maintain an Arizona or Colorado Fingerprint Clearance Card, depending on the specific facility.
  • Employees at Banner MD Anderson on the Phoenix campus must possess and maintain a State of Arizona Department of Public Safety Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Candidates should have the ability to assess patients' comprehensive needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, document care accurately, and provide evidence-based nursing care.
  • The position requires effective coordination and communication with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
