Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical (MS) at a healthcare facility in Henderson, North Carolina. This role involves providing direct patient care in a Medical Surgical unit, requiring candidates to bring their license on the first day. The position starts on July 6, 2026, with a schedule of night shifts.
Job Details:
- Location: Henderson, North Carolina
- Shift: Nights
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, weekly guaranteed hours of 36 hours
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Certifications in National Institute of Health (NIH), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), at least 1 year of nursing experience, including a minimum of 1 travel assignment completed. Experience with starting IVs, inserting Foley catheters, NG tubes, performing EKGs, and administering heparin drips.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with a patient ratio of 1:6, with high patient turnover.
- Additional Information: Candidates must be willing to float to inpatient rehab or emergency room if needed. The EMR system used is Paragon.
