The organization is seeking an Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) Nurse for a facility location in Denton, Texas. This role involves providing specialized perioperative care in a busy surgical unit performing open heart procedures. Job Details:

• Location: Denton, Texas
• Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week

• Experience: 1 year of relevant experience, open to candidates with no minimum experience as well
• Shift Hours: 12 hours

• Required Qualifications: Candidates must have one year of experience, be current in certification requirements, and meet education and licensure standards for operating room nursing. Experience with cardiac procedures and circulating hearts is preferred.
• Additional Information: The unit has 13 beds, with a staffing ratio of 1:1 for patients undergoing open heart procedures. Staff includes 62 members, with a team that encompasses charge nurses and support staff. The EMR system used is Meditech. No float rotation is required, and on-call duties include 2 nights per week and 1 weekend per month.
