Description

Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse Washington, DC. This role provides bedside nursing care in a fast-paced emergency setting, including work in the trauma room as the bedside trauma RN. Responsibilities include coordinating and delivering safe, high-quality care for a wide range of patient needs. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

  • Schedule: 3 x 12s nights; 12 shift hours; minimum 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state/district (required); Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program (required); Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (highly desired); Emergency Room (ER) experience (required); National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification (required); Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification (required); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (required); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (required); Cerner experience (required).
  • Preferred Qualifications: BSN (highly desired).
  • Additional Information: Must be willing/able to work in the trauma room as the bedside trauma RN and be able to take 1:5 ratios.
