Description
Job Summary:
Infusion Nurse - Eureka, California. This position involves providing infusion therapy services in an outpatient setting, supporting oncology and obstetric patients with biologic/immunotherapy medications, antibiotics, antivirals, antifungals, iron infusions, blood transfusions, hydration, and other supportive medications. Candidates are required to bring their California state license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid California state license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, one year of infusion experience, and Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with managing ports, administering blood and blood products, coagulation factors, and working in infusion centers.
- Additional Information: Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility. Travelers' refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours. Candidates must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.
