Job Summary
Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) Centralia, Washington. This role supports surgical services in the Operating Room with emphasis on case readiness, perioperative processes, and clinical competencies aligned to common surgical procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days; 5x8 shift with 40 hours per week (shift times: 10001830 or 11001930), MondayFriday; On-call required (46 shifts per month).
- Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); RN licensure (license required on the first day); Epic charting experience; 1 year of experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Preferred scrub and circulating experience in GYN, General, or Ortho.
- Additional Information: Skills include abdominal/vaginal hysterectomy; administration of blood and blood products; anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction; anterior/posterior repair (colporrhaphy); appendectomy; arthroscopy; arthrotomy; bilateral tubal ligation; C-sections; carpal tunnel release; cell saver; cholecystectomy; closed reduction of fractures; code response; colon resection; dilation & curettage; electrosurgical units; infection control; laminectomy/discectomy; laparoscopic assisted gynecological procedures; laparoscopic assisted procedures; latex allergy; malignant hyperthermia; mastectomy; open reduction of fractures; Ortho/Spine; radiation safety; specimen handling/labeling; spinal fusion; starting peripheral IVs; Steris; therapeutic abortion; thyroidectomy partial/total; total joint replacement; universal protocol (time out) procedure; urinary bladder catheterization; vulvectomy; and Whipple.
- Submission Requirements: All references must be submitted (2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years during the compliance process and prior to start; references may include charge RNs/lead).
