Description
Job Summary:
The position of Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) is based in Spokane, Washington. This role involves working in a short-term acute care facility with Level III Trauma Center designation. Candidates must bring their license on the first day and possess a minimum of two years of relevant experience. The work schedule is from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends and holidays. The position requires travel experience and certifications, with the successful candidate expected to float between sister facilities as needed.
Job Details:
- Location: Spokane, WA
- Schedule: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends/holidays, minimum 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid Washington or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license, valid Allied license (if applicable), two years of experience in sterile processing or related field, certifications including CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA, and experience with Epic charting system.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in acute hospital settings, familiarity with advanced sterilization techniques, and ability to float between facilities.
- Certifications: CBSPD, IAHCSMM/HSPA, HSPA, or CBSPD
- Additional Information: All candidates must comply with system and COVID-19 vaccination policies as specified. Post-submission, all scheduling and RTO requests must be made upfront; no RTO will be approved post-offer. References: Two references covering one year (six months for CNAs) within the last three years are required.
