Job Summary:
A Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) opportunity is available in Colchester, Vermont. This position involves providing compassionate end-of-life care within a community hospice setting. The assignment is for 13-16 weeks, with candidates required to bring their license on the first day. The role primarily involves on-call coverage with limited call responsibilities, and candidates should be prepared for 10-hour days, including weekends as needed.

Job Details:

• Location: Colchester, Vermont
• Shift: Day shift, 10 hours per day
• Hours: Minimum of 40 hours per week
• Start Date: 06/29/2026
• Required Qualifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, a minimum of 3 years of prior community hospice experience, strong typing skills for narrative-heavy electronic medical records, EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) experience within the past 2 years, and certifications including AHA BLS.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with symptom assessment and management, critical thinking skills, participation in goals of care discussions, medication management (IV, subcutaneous, oral, sublingual, rectal routes), and comfort with high-level symptom management and education.
• Additional Information: All employment gaps exceeding 90 days must be explained, and complete work history related to bed count, EMR, facility type, etc., is mandatory for submission. The facility is not accessible via public transportation; reliable transportation, personal, or rental vehicles with all-season or snow tires (NovemberApril) are strongly recommended.
