Job Summary
Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor Nurse in Fort Worth, Texas. This inpatient rehabilitation position involves caring for adult patients with neurological, cardiac, and orthopedic conditions. The role emphasizes patient mobilization and rehabilitation-specific documentation, with ongoing training provided to enhance specialized skills.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, beginning on 09/07/2026.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, willingness to learn rehabilitation patient mobilization skills, willingness to complete rehabilitation-specific documentation (real-time training resource provided), good attention to detail, and a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in inpatient hospital settings such as medical-surgical, stepdown critical care, or inpatient rehabilitation.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neurological, cardiac, and/or orthopedic adult patient populations, inpatient (acute) rehabilitation, or long-term acute care nursing.
  • Procedures performed on unit: Indwelling and straight urinary catheterizations, peripheral IV insertions, blood administration, central line dressing changes, wound dressing changes as ordered, surgical drain removal, suture/staple removal, and other medical-surgical nursing procedures.
  • Dress code: RN required to wear royal blue tops and pants in good condition, without fading or facility logos; scrub caps must be logo-free.
  • Unit guidelines/policies: Floats to medical-surgical units in rotation with unit staff.
  • Additional information: Position involves working in a fast-paced inpatient rehabilitation environment with an emphasis on osteoarthritic, neurological, and orthopedic care.
