Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse Stress Technician position is available in Hermiston, Oregon. Candidates are responsible for providing skilled nursing support during cardiac and pulmonary stress testing procedures. The role involves clinical assessment, patient care, and technical operation of stress testing equipment to ensure safe and accurate diagnostic testing. Candidates must bring their Oregon state Registered Nurse (RN) license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Hermiston, OR
- Shift: Days, 7:00 AM 5:30 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; Oregon state RN license; BLS certification; ACLS certification; CRASE training (if assignment extends beyond six months)
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac stress testing, ECG interpretation, or cardiopulmonary diagnostics; clinical judgment and patient assessment skills
- Additional Information: The Registered Nurse Stress Technician performs pre-test nursing assessments, monitors patients during testing, and operates stress testing equipment. The position requires effective communication skills and the ability to respond to emergency situations according to protocol. Candidates will participate in required education for DNV programs.
