Job Summary:
Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) - Adult Forensics/Intensive Unit in Brattleboro, Vermont. This position involves working on a secure adult intensive psychiatric unit, providing complex nursing care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Candidates must bring their license on the first day of shift.
Job Details:
- Location: Brattleboro, Vermont
- Shift hours: 12-hour nights
- Minimum hours per week: 36.0 hours
- Required Qualifications: Active Vermont or Compact license; American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; five years of experience as an RN with recent adult intensive psychiatric experience within the last 3 months; inpatient psych experience must be within the last 3 months; must be willing to float to other units and take charge shifts; residence within 35 miles of the facility (address or driver's license required)
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult psychiatric patient populations and all age groups listed on the resume; recent psych skills checklist from within the last year; two supervisory references from the last two years of employment
- Additional Information: Candidates must submit a resume listing psych experience and all age groups, along with a psych skills checklist. Scheduling requests should be included in the submission.
