Job Summary:
An Intensive Care Unit Float Registered Nurse position is available in Lufkin, Texas. The role involves providing specialized critical care services across ICU and PCU units. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. This position requires a minimum of three years of critical care experience.

Job Details:

• Location: Lufkin, Texas
• Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Float (ICU FLOAT)
• Shift Hours: 12-hour shifts, including days (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) and nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Required Qualifications: Licensure to submit, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, and three years of critical care experience.
• Schedule: 4 shifts per week, with floating to ICU or PCU units as required, including 7-day and 14-day assignments depending on coverage needs.
• Responsibilities include working in a critical care environment, managing patients post-CABG or PCI, with diagnoses such as sepsis, DKA, and respiratory failure.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS.
• Additional Information: Expect to work in both ICU and PCU, with orientation specific to each unit during the first week. The dress code is navy blue scrubs.
