Description
Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available at a surgical center located in Newington, Connecticut. The RN will provide specialized perioperative nursing care for ophthalmology procedures, including Cataracts, Glaucoma, and Ocular Plastics. Candidates are required to bring their Connecticut RN license on the first day. This position offers a full-time schedule with no call, weekends, or holidays.
Job Details:
- Location: Hartford County, Connecticut

- Schedule: Monday Thursday, 7:00 AM 4:30 PM
- Hours per week: 40 hours
- Required Qualifications: Current Connecticut RN license, BLS (AHA) certification, no minimum years of experience specified, location in Connecticut, and ability to work the scheduled hours.
- Preferred Qualifications: CNOR certification recommended.
- Float: Float rotation not required.
- Additional Information: This is a fast-paced, progressive surgery center specializing in ophthalmic surgeries such as Cataracts, Glaucoma, Corneal Transplant, and Ocular Plastic Surgeries for adult patients. Candidates must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills and complete the required skills checklist with submission.
