Description
Job Summary:
An Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) position is available in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.) at a busy ER department. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position is scheduled to start on June 29, 2026, with a contract length of 13 weeks. Only candidates with a minimum of 3-5+ years of ER RN experience and at least one completed travel contract are eligible to apply.
Job Details:
- Location: Fond du Lac, Wisconsin
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.), with guaranteed 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: WI Registered Nurse (RN) license; AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications; Associate Degree or Certificate; 3-5+ years ER RN experience; minimum of one completed travel contract; Epic charting experience within the last year.
- Preferred Qualifications: Point of Care Testing experience is strongly preferred.
- Additional Information:
- No new travelers candidates must have at least one completed travel contract.
- Open to floating to multiple facilities within a 60-mile radius, including options to assist at other Thedacare facilities and participate in float rotations to help support operational needs.
- No on-call or call-back requirements.
- Orientation includes 8 hours of unbillable GSA hours, with set weekly hours guaranteed except during holidays when the unit is closed.
- Shift Requirements: 12-hour night shifts (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.), minimum hours per week: 36.
- Experience: 3-5+ years ER RN experience required; at least one completed travel contract required.
- Certifications: WI RN license, AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, TNCC.
- Education: Associate Degree or Certificate.
