Job Summary:
A Behavioral Health Staff position is available in Salem, Virginia. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This role involves working on a dedicated behavioral health unit within the facility, providing patient care across multiple units. Job Details:

• Location: Salem, VA
• Specialty: Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor (MS REHAB)
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, with every other weekend and rotating holidays
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) and Basic Life Support (BLS), experience in behavioral health, proficiency in manual blood pressure measurement, glucometer use, EKG monitoring, electronic health record documentation (MEDITECH), and verbal de-escalation, with no minimum years of experience specified.

• Additional Information: Candidates must be capable of performing observation rounds, vital sign monitoring, patient belongings searches, milieu management for safety, group therapy facilitation, and utilizing new equipment or technology as available in the unit.
