Description
Job Summary:
A Hemodialysis (HD) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Traverse City, Michigan. This role involves providing acute dialysis services, including therapies such as hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, apheresis, and Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT). The RN will be responsible for preparing and cleaning dialysis machines, calling as required, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Traverse City, Michigan
- Shift Hours: 08:00 AM 06:30 PM or 10:00 AM 08:00 PM, anticipated 40 hours/week with variable shift days
- Required Qualifications: Associate Degree in Nursing; Licenses: BLS certification; Experience with acute dialysis, including CRRT and apheresis, preferred; No minimum years of experience required
- Schedule: Variable days, on-call from 8:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 4-5 days per month Sunday through Saturday; every other Friday and Saturday are weekends; holidays as needed depending on contract length
- Additional Information: The RN must be familiar with dialysis equipment including B Braun machines, NXStage for apheresis/CRRT, and Baxter for CCPD/peritoneal dialysis. No guaranteed hours; overtime available after 40 hours per week.
