Description
Job Summary:
A Labor and Delivery Nurse position is available in Aberdeen, Washington. This contract role is scheduled for 13 weeks, with nights shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, totaling 36 hours per week, with the option to pick up additional shifts. Candidates must possess a current Washington State nursing license; multi-state licenses are accepted with proper verifications. This role requires experience in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery units. Candidates are expected to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Aberdeen, Washington
- Shift: Nights, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM (12 hours)
- Schedule: 36 hours per week, 13-week contract with possibility to extend or pick up extra shifts
- Required Qualifications: Valid Washington State nursing license or multi-state license with approved 6-hour suicide training verification and demographics verification from Nursys. Certifications required include Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). Certification in STABLE training is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of Meditech electronic medical records is helpful but not required.
- Additional Information: Candidates should be comfortable working in a facility close to Pacific Northwest beaches and Olympic National Forest. Knowledge of Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery units is essential. Ability to do Scrub is a plus but not required.
