Description
Job Summary:
The Denver, Colorado area is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for an Intermediate Care Unit position. This opportunity involves performing independent nursing functions, assessing, planning, and implementing patient care, and executing delegated medical functions. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Brighton, Colorado
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current license as a Registered Nurse in Colorado. Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN required), Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred), BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS, NIH, and NCC certifications. No minimum years of experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience as a Registered Nurse, Bachelor's degree in Nursing, TNCC certification.
- Additional Information: The role involves performing health assessments, health teaching, health counseling, therapy and treatment planning, execution of medical functions, patient referrals, documentation, resource utilization, and promoting the mission and values of the organization. The position may require floating to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications and being placed on-call during scheduled shifts.
