Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical Traveler Nurse position is located in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. This role involves working on a Medical Surgical Floor with a patient ratio typically of 1:6. Candidates are required to bring their Massachusetts registered nursing (RN) license on the first day of assignment. The schedule consists of 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, with holiday coverage as needed, beginning on 06/22/2026. Candidates must be willing to float to any Medical Surgical unit.

Job Details:

• Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts
• Shift Time: Days
• Schedule: 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, every other weekend, holidays required if needed
• Required Qualifications: Current Massachusetts RN license, 2 years of recent Medical Surgical experience, telemetry experience, Basic Dysrhythmia course completion, willingness to float, current BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale), Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred, valid Massachusetts RN license, and all certifications must be in hand at profile upload
• Additional Qualifications: Experience with Meditech Expanse preferred; ability to work holidays (Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day); valid drivers license and own vehicle required; all scheduling requests to be made at the time of submission; RTO requests accepted only if included in profile and prior to an offer
• Submission Requirements: Full compliance file including Massachusetts RN license, supervisory signed reference from within the past two years, current skills checklist pertinent to Medical Surgical, and all certifications listed above
• Float: Float rotation may be required to any Medical Surgical unit
• Other Details: Travelers must be willing to work every other weekend and holidays if needed. All scheduling requests must be made at submission, as requests after offer may be rescinded.
