Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical Nurse is based in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, at a healthcare facility. This position involves working on a medical surgical floor, with a focus on providing patient care in accordance with hospital standards. Candidates are required to bring their active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license on the first day of assignment. Flexibility to work every other weekend and potentially on holidays is necessary to meet operational needs.

Job Details:

• Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts
• Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0 hours
• Start Date: 06/22/2026
• Required Qualifications: Current Massachusetts RN license; Medical Surgical experience (minimum 2 years); Telemetry experience required; Basic Dysrhythmia course completion (strongly required); BLS (AHA), NIHSS, ACLS (AHA) certifications; Ability to float to any Medical Surgical (MS) unit; Willingness to work every other weekend and holidays if needed; Own vehicle required; Profile must include work history, skills checklist pertinent to Medical Surgical nursing, signed supervisory reference (from within the past two years), and all certifications uploaded.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech Expanse system highly preferred.
• Additional Information: Travelers may not take all holidays off. Voicemail must be set up on contact phones; travelers without voicemail may be redirected.
