Description
Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Portland, Oregon. This role involves providing specialized care for adult patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures within a Short Term Acute Care facility. The selected candidate must bring their license on the first day of assignment and be prepared to float between units and nearby sister facilities as needed. Candidates with at least one year of relevant experience are preferred.

- Location: Portland, Oregon
- Shift Details: Days, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Start Date: 07/06/2026
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, at least 1 year of experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, experience with Epic electronic medical record system, ability to perform procedural sedation, and experience interpreting and managing dysrhythmias.
- Schedule: Shift time is days, 10 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week
- Additional Information: Must have a vehicle for this assignment. Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility. Refusal to float may lead to termination of employment or loss of guaranteed hours. Candidates must request all return-to-work and specific scheduling requests upfront during submission.
- Experience: 0 years minimum required, with preference for candidates holding at least 1 year of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
- References: Two references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years.
- Other Conditions: Must include responses to previous employment at Providence facilities during submission.
- Special Requirements: Must be able to work during specified holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day).
- Float Policy: Travelers may be expected to float to sister facilities nearby. A refusal to float may result in termination or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
- Other Notes: Must have a vehicle for the assignment; mobile communication devices will be provided or reimbursed if not supplied.
