Description
Job Summary:
A Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Pikeville, Kentucky. This role involves working on a Surgical/Orthopedic unit during night shifts. Candidates are required to have their Kentucky or Compact Nursing license and bring their license on the first day. The position entails providing patient care in a fast-paced environment with a focus on surgical and orthopedic cases.
Job Details:
- Location: Pikeville, Kentucky
- Specialty: Medical Surgical Floor (MS)
- Shift Time and Hours: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week
- Contract Duration: 8 weeks
- Required Qualifications: Kentucky or Compact Registered Nurse license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, at least 2 years of experience in a Medical Surgical setting, EMR system used: Epic (experience with Epic EMR is a plus)
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with Epic Electronic Medical Record system is a plus
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: Scrub color for those on travel assignments in ICU is royal blue; all other units wear black.
