Job Summary:
The position is for an Emergency Department (ED) Observation Registered Nurse (RN) located in Salem, Massachusetts. This role involves working in an Observation Unit with 16 beds, focusing on adult patient care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working in a single location and 2 years as a traveler. The shift schedule includes rotating nights and every-other-week (EOW) shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, Nights & EOW, 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active Massachusetts RN license; AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification; minimum 2 years of experience working in one location; 2 years as a traveler; experience in general emergency nursing skills including assessment, documentation, IV, phlebotomy, electrocardiogram (EKG), cardiac monitoring, point-of-care testing, splinting, critical thinking, and patient education.
