Job Summary:
A registered nurse (RN) specializing in the Mother Baby unit is needed at a healthcare facility in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This position involves providing high-quality patient care within the Post Partum Floor setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment. The role requires a minimum of two years of experience and offers a scheduled shift during nights, with a 4x12 hour shift pattern.
Job Details:
- Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
- Shift: Nights, 4x12 (minimum 36 hours per week, guaranteed 48 hours)
- Required Qualifications: Valid registered nursing (RN) license in Oklahoma, Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), 2+ years of experience in a relevant setting
- Specialty: Post Partum Floor
- Number of Openings: 1
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The nurse will utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care, ensure patient rights and confidentiality, and collaborate with other departments to coordinate care. The specific patient ratios are 3 couplets per nurse, with post-partum patients on magnesium sulfate typically requiring 1:1 care during the first 12 hours, with possible additions to the assignment.
