Description
Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical (MS) in Pendleton, Oregon. This position involves providing high-quality inpatient care in a busy Med/Surg unit, managing patients with conditions such as CHF, diabetic complications, pneumonia, COPD exacerbations, hip fractures, COVID-19, and post-operative care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Pendleton, Oregon
- Specialty: Medical Surgical Floor
- Shift: Nights 1900-0730 or Days 0700-1930, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Oregon license to submit, BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support); minimum of 2 years of experience in general medical-surgical nursing.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with general pediatric patients.
- Float: Not specified; RNs not fully cross-trained to other departments are expected to assist if floating as "helping hands," with the option to fully cross-train to other departments.
- Additional Information: Great staffing ratios with typically fewer than the maximum patients per nurse.
- Emergency Room EMR System: MEDITECH.
