Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Pediatric Neuropsychology Registered Nurse (RN) Traveler for an inpatient psychiatric unit located in Aurora, Colorado. The position involves providing specialized psychiatric care to pediatric patients and requires candidates to bring their license on the first day of assignment. The assignment duration is 12 weeks, starting on July 7, 2026, with scheduled night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Details:

• Location: Aurora, Colorado
• Shift Hours: 12 hours, Nights (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0 hours
• Travel Required: No
• Float: Yes, float rotation may be required within a 35-mile radius of the original facility.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Certification in Management of Assaultive Behavior (CPI)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of pediatric psychiatric experience
  • No minimum experience required in pediatric psychiatry is listed, but 2 years of psych experience with pediatrics is essential.
  • Location requirements: Colorado licensing or eligibility to practice in Colorado.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous travel experience highly preferred
  • Experience with autism or intellectual disabilities is a plus.
• Additional Information:
  • No request for time off within the first two weeks of assignment.
  • RTO requests not submitted at the time of application may not be approved.
  • Vaccinations: seasonal influenza vaccination required.
  • The facility reserves the right to reassign personnel within their clinical competence to other areas within 35 miles of the original assignment.
