Description
Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Operating Room (OR) in Cleveland, Ohio. This role involves providing perioperative care within a busy surgical environment, supporting various surgical specialties including general, colorectal, gynecology, urology, breast, eye, brachytherapy, plastics, and urogyn. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. The position is based at an organization that operates primarily during weekdays with potential float within the skill set to other operating departments as needed.
Job Details:
- Location: Cleveland, Ohio
- Shift: 8 hours, typically from 12 PM to 11 PM or 12 PM to 7:45 PM, depending on schedule
- Required Qualifications: Active nursing license, operating room experience, proficiency in scrub and circulating roles, da Vinci Xi robotic surgical system certification or experience, ability to scrub posterior eye and eye trauma cases, no minimum years of experience specified, Ohio licensure preferred or required as per state regulations.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with a variety of surgical procedures including minimally invasive, robotic, and complex surgeries
- Float: Float within skill set to other operating departments or main OR as needed
- Additional Information: The role involves assisting with a diverse case load including hernias, appendectomies, cholecystectomies, GI work, laparoscopic and robotic procedures, gender affirmation surgeries, and eye surgeries occurring up to three times a month. The schedule involves two weekend call shifts per contract.
