Description

Job Summary:
A registered nurse specializing in Interventional Radiology is sought for a full-time position in Hackensack, New Jersey. This role involves the delivery of safe, evidence-based patient care within the interventional radiology unit. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The position offers an opportunity to work weekdays from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a minimum of 32 hours per week.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. No weekends or holidays. The shift duration is 8 hours.
  • Required Qualifications: Licensed registered nurse in New Jersey or holding a multi-state compact license, with current BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS, and PALS certifications. A minimum of six (6) months of relevant nursing experience is required, including recent critical care, pre-operative, and recovery/PACU experience with a strong telemetry background.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree is preferred; a minimum of 3+ years PACU experience is desirable.
  • Additional Information: The role includes preoperative assessment, IV placement, and recovery responsibilities in a pre-op and PACU setting focused on interventional radiology procedures. Strong adaptability, accountability, teamwork, and ongoing education dedication are essential qualities for success in this position.
