Job Summary:
A Medical Surgical Floor (MS) nurse is sought for a healthcare facility in Naperville, Illinois. This position involves night shifts and requires candidates to bring their licensed professional certification on the first day. The role entails providing specialized care to patients post-operatively across surgical oncology and vascular surgery units, with additional responsibilities in neuro telemetry and stroke patient care.

Job Details:

• Location: Naperville, Illinois
• Shift Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Illinois Licensure, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Epic electronic health record experience, and at least 2 years of clinical experience. Travel experience and specialization in neuro telemetry, stroke (CVA/TIA), subdurals, seizure disorders, post-op recovery from surgical procedures such as Whipple procedures, esophagectomies, colon resections, as well as post-peripheral angiograms, peripheral arterial disease (PAD) wounds, and below-knee amputations are also required.

• Additional Information: The start date is June 28, 2026. Orientation can occur any day of the week; it includes 24 hours (12 non-billable). Credentials are due the Thursday before the start date. Submittal package includes an updated resume, one reference from a telemetry manager within the last year, skills checklist, and Illinois licensure verification.
