Job Summary:
The Mason City, Maine, area is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) for an OB (Obstetrics) unit. This position involves providing holistic, individualized patient care on the OB unit, demonstrating clinical competency, nursing judgment, and teaching skills. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The RN will perform general and unit-specific clinical skills, assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care under supervision, and adhere to all hospital policies and standards.

• Required Qualifications: Current licensure as an RN, graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, at least one year of acute care experience as an RN, current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Certificate, STABLE certification, and must be vaccinated for COVID-19 per state mandate. Effective communication skills, written and oral, and computer skills are also required.
• Additional Information: Independence in performing clinical skills related to obstetrics, adherence to standards of nursing practice, and competency in assessing, planning, and evaluating care for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, nursery, and post-operative gynecological patients.
