Job Summary:
This Lactation Specialist position is located in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. The role involves providing expert assessment, treatment, consultation, planning, and leadership oversight for optimal lactation management in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Candidates are required to bring their licensed credential on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Pittsfield, Massachusetts
• Certifications: BLS (AHA), Board Certified Lactation Consultant (BCLC)
• Required Qualifications: Massachusetts license, 1+ years of experience as a Lactation Consultant, a minimum of 2500 hours as a breastfeeding consultant, inpatient lactation program experience, outpatient prenatal and postpartum lactation education, certifications in BLS (AHA) and Board Certification, Meditech Expanse EMR experience strongly preferred, own vehicle required, and all certifications must be in hand and included in profile upload.
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Start Date: 07/06/2026
• Additional Information:
  • 8 hours non-billable orientation
  • Holiday and overtime multipliers at 1.25%
  • Any/All RTO (Request Time Off) must be included in profile; requests after offer may lead to rescinded offer.
  • Scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission.
  • Travel distance restrictions apply: candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered. Perm address must be included in the profile.
