Description

Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse (RN) position on a Medical Surgical Floor in Indianapolis, Indiana, supporting post-surgical patients. The role involves providing high-quality care for post-op patients, including those undergoing general and bariatric surgery, as well as overflow medical patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

Location: Indianapolis, IN
Position Role: RN
Specialty: Medical Surgical Floor
Shift Schedule: Nights (7:30 PM 7:00 AM), rotating days, 3 shifts per week, every 3rd weekend, rotating holidays.
Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, BLS certification, at least 1 year of current experience in a medical-surgical or post-surgical setting, experience with drains, Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system proficiency, flexibility, strong teamwork, and strong time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in post-surgical and medical-surgical units.
Additional Information: Education modules will be assigned upon hire and must be completed before reporting to the floor.
