Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (Endoscopy Lab) in Phoenix, Arizona. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional standards. Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice, temporary/interim RN license in state of practice, or compact RN licensure for current state of practice. BLS certification is required. Experience in the clinical area for which he or she is applying is desired. Minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting, including in the past 12 months, in the specialty area.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred. Professional certification preferred.
Additional Information: Employees working at specified facilities must possess and maintain specific fingerprint clearance cards or state-specific credentials as outlined in the position description.
Responsibility Highlights: This role assesses patient needs, formulates and implements care plans, coordinates with the healthcare team, educates patients and families, documents care activities, and provides evidence-based care. The position may require providing supervision to licensed and non-licensed personnel and engaging in activities aimed at improving patient outcomes and nursing quality indicators.
