Job Summary:
Surgical Technician (Operating Room Technician) in Saranac Lake, New York. This position involves supporting a multidisciplinary surgical team by preparing and handling instruments, supplies, and equipment during surgical procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role may include participation in on-call schedules for after-hours urgent and emergent cases.

Job Details:

• Location: Saranac Lake, New York
• Shift: Varying shift, Monday through Friday, 10-hour days
• Hours per Week: 40 hours
• Required Qualifications: Certification, 1 year of experience in surgical technology, flexible to diverse procedures including vascular and orthopedic surgeries, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, certification required
• Preferred Qualifications: Broad surgical experience with vascular cases and ortho procedures
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: The surgical technician functions as a scrub person, preparing and handling instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during operative procedures. They work under the supervision of a registered nurse and participate in the on-call schedule for after-hours urgent/emergent cases.
