Job Summary:
A healthcare organization is seeking a registered nurse (RN) for a Medical Surgical Floor position in Weirton, West Virginia. The successful candidate will provide patient care on a 12-hour shift schedule, which includes rotating day and night shifts. Candidates are required to bring their RN license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Weirton, West Virginia
• Specialty: Medical Surgical Floor
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, rotating days and nights, with weekends as scheduled. Shifts are from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. No self-scheduling or block scheduling is permitted; schedules are made by the manager with input on time off requests.
• Required Qualifications: RN license and BLS certification; minimum of 1 year of experience. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. All submissions must include a copy of a valid, unexpired driver's license, and licensing hits must be disclosed at the time of submission.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience on a Medical Surgical Floor.
• Additional Information: May be asked to participate in holiday rotation based on a schedule that rotates for RNs. PCTs do not have scheduled holidays but work if it lands on their scheduled day.
• Charting System: EPIC.
• Shift Notes: 12-hour day/night rotate, weekends as scheduled.
• Other Responsibilities: Providing patient care duties including vital signs, blood glucose monitoring, EKGs, heart monitor application, bathing, feeding, toileting, turning, and positioning.
• Certifications: BLS.
• Licensing: RN license required.
