Description
Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) Medical-Surgical (MS) Greenfield, MA. This position involves providing compassionate and competent nursing care within a community hospitals general medical-surgical and telemetry unit. The RN will manage a diverse range of patient cases, including cardiac, post-surgical, respiratory, and others, utilizing Cerner Clinical Information System to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, at least 2 years of experience in medical-surgical settings, BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications, proficiency with Cerner Clinical Information System, located in Massachusetts
- Preferred Qualifications: Not specified
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: The unit consists of 43 beds and cares for patients with conditions such as chest pain, post-surgical recovery (including gallbladder, appendectomy, gynecological surgeries, colectomy), pneumonia, congestive heart failure, withdrawal management, cellulitis, COVID-19, influenza, and more. The RN will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment, adhering to hospital protocols and standards.
