Job Summary:
The Operating Room (OR) nurse is based in Boston, Massachusetts, at a Level I Trauma Center that handles a wide variety of surgical procedures. This position requires candidates to bring their license on the first day of employment. The role involves working in a high-volume, acute care environment with a focus on transplant, trauma, neuro, spine, and orthopedic surgeries, including robotic procedures.

• Required Qualifications: Certifications include NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST), Certified Surgical First Assist (CSFA), and Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA). Education requirements are not specified. Candidates should have experience in kidney transplant, neuro, spine, orthopedic trauma, and robotics. Experience in Level I trauma centers is preferred.
• Additional Information: The position is primarily based at the Boston West Main campus but can be floated to other campuses or operating rooms. Candidates cannot reside within 50 miles of the facility. Orientation is weekly (every Monday, barring holidays). No local travelers will be accepted.
