Description
Job Summary:
The specialized Nurse (RN) position is located in the Orthopedic unit in Houston, Texas. The role involves working in an orthopedic surgical environment with a focus on large joint and spine surgeries. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This position is scheduled for daytime shifts, with candidates expected to work 8-hour shifts and a minimum of 40 hours per week.

- Start Date: 07/13/2026
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; no previous experience required
- Preferred Qualifications: Large joint and spine orthopedic experience; well-versed in total joints and spine procedures; EMR proficiency in Meditech
- Schedule: Report to work at 6:45 AM; attend morning huddles on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; shift ends at 5:15 PM; no second shift relief; call approximately 4 times per month, Monday through Friday, primarily stay-overs to finish cases.
- Additional Information: Parking garage free for employees and contractors; the unit maintains high employee and physician engagement with patient satisfaction consistently above 90%.
