Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Martinsville, Virginia. This role involves providing compassionate and professional emergency care to patients of all ages in a busy emergency department setting. Candidates are required to bring their RN license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Martinsville, VA
• Position: RN in the Emergency Department
• Unit: Emergency Department with 34 beds, serving all age groups
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, weekly guaranteed hours of 36, with weekend hours as needed or every other week
• Required Qualifications: Licensure and certifications required to work as an RN in Virginia; RN License in Virginia; Certifications include ACLS, BLS, CPI/Handle with Care, NIH stroke scale, and PALS or ENPC; 1-2 years of emergency room experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience handling common diagnoses such as chest pain, congestive heart failure, COPD, and psych issues.
• Additional Information: Float requirements are as needed. The facility utilizes Medhost electronic health records system. The position is part of a new/expanded service line with a start date of 07/14/2026.
